Metsälampi

Lake: Metsälampi is a small artificial lake in north Ukraine. The lake has dark water color and a muddy bottom. The only deeper area in the lake is an old riverbed. In the summertime the place is used extensively to grow carp, but the fish are never left in the lake for the winter.

Fishing: The most commong fish in the lake are perch and crucian carp. Mostly they are small, but a possibility to get record-size fish exist. The roach are more rare and they can be found near the river. Other species play a minor role. In the midwinter fish activity can be low time to time - reason is low oxygen level.

Fish: Perch, Roach, Ruffe, Crucian Carp, Rudd, Tench, Pike, Three-spined Stickleback.
